CSS Play
This is a collection of themes/templates that I have ported to Frog (except for Gilbertson, which is a Frog original; see below). There is a full list of all such themes on the MadeByFrog site. These themes all share the following features:
- attractive: that is, I like them!
- simple: please feel free to notify me of corrections or improvements via the contact form on the About page;
- adaptable: a change of the header bg image, or the body background, etc. will quickly provide a personalized variation;
- popular: stylish, of course, but not templates that are absolutely everywhere already;
- licensed: free or open source, creative-commons, etc. only.
They are sorted newest-to-oldest in the list below (if you are looking for latest additions), but in order of release in the list in the sidebar. Please be aware of two qualifications: (1) these templates normally do not have their "meta"-markup included in the Frog layout, although it remains present in the CSS; and (2) commenting has normally not been implemented, but if it has I have used the 0.9.3 conventions, so those using 0.9.2 will need to restore the comment code appropriate for that release.

- Notes: This theme uses Dan Rubin’s “Absolute Columns” technique to have two equal-length columns without images or hacks. Minimalist!
- Emire

- FreshMedia

- Notes: This the first (and, so far, only!) two-column fluid layout. Lightweight and clean.

- Notes: a simple and attractive theme with light graphics, and a three-column "footer" area. [Updated 2008.05.06]
- Blueprinted

- Notes: a clean and elegant theme with both top and bottom nav, and a nice “heading” feature for date display. Please note that this template has a CC3.0 Attribution, No Derivatives license.

- Notes: a rather unusual main-menu layout, vertically stacked in horizontal bars below the main header; dark without being menacing!
